Brilliantly colored black bordered photograph with incredible movement captures a moment in time as the massed bands enter the castle esplanade at the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo.
In the forefront are the participating Drum Majors for all of the bands.
The evening performance was in celebration of the queen's Diamond Jubilee in August 2012
